I'm sure your family is full of characters. I know mine is.

Capturing those characters in candid, keepsake photographs is what I love to do. Children will always grow up too fast but a photograph can hold them still for a moment to cherish.

I'm Michelle and with Photo Piccolo, I provide all sorts of photography - events, headshots, commercial work - but I specialize in photographing children and families in natural settings, both indoors and out. In my experience, these settings are the most likely to keep young subjects both energized and at ease.

Located in the Town of Cortlandt in northwestern Westchester, I work primarily in Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties, New York City, northern New Jersey and southwestern Connecticut. I am willing to travel to your home or any other location, with travel time reflected in my fee.

I shoot digital photographs with a Nikon dSLR. This results in high-quality images that are both flexible and transferable. Generally, an hour sitting (running and jumping, too) will result in at least 30 to 40 final photographs. For a single pre-established fee, I take the photographs, sort and select, do cropping and minor digital enhancements. I then provide the final selection of photographs to you in an online password-protected viewing gallery.

You'll find that my rates are very competitive, and unlike many photographers, I allow you to keep and use the digital photographs as you see fit. I provide you a physical CD or digital download. This allows you to reprint, post, e-mail and otherwise distribute them at your discretion. I do offer printing services, but that is entirely optional. I ask only that you share these photographs only with family and friends, not for commercial use.
